Eaton Hazardous Area Communications group has an exciting new enhancement to its MEDC product line with the introduction of CCCF certification.

The CCCF products include the BG break glass call point, XB15 xenon strobe beacon and the DB3B electronic high power sounder, enhancing the ranges’ already extensive approvals list, including CQST.

This enhancement is a result of extensive internal and external testing, leading to Eaton’s unique position of providing a call point, beacon and sounder with both CCCF and CQST approvals, which allows the products to be installed on Chinese fire alarm systems with CQST hazardous areas classification.

These selected products are a valuable addition to any fire system, with a certified operation temperature reaching +70°C, lightweight GRP construction, and an ingress protection rating of IP66 and IP67. The maximum output for the DB3B is 122dB (@1m +/- 3dB) and the XB15 up to 382Cd
