Analogue End of Life Notification – HERNIS and Oxalis ranges of CCTV equipment and camera stations

Mar 13, 2019

As technology in our sector continues to advance and the drive for smarter, higher resolution HD video using CMOS image sensors becomes the norm, the demand for the existing analogue/CCD sensor has reduced to such an extent that this technology has stopped being manufactured and is now becoming obsolete globally.

Despite our many efforts over the past two years to keep supplying and servicing these analogue derived product ranges, we are now in a position where global supply and inventory necessitates us to discontinue our analogue camera stations and any associated equipment.

We still have sufficient inventory on hand in our supply chain with a view to servicing existing installations and known projects – although based on our current analogue demand we anticipate these supplies will only last approximately 10 months from this notice. We therefore plan to discontinue the analogue ranges across both HERNIS and Oxalis by the end of this year (Dec 2019).

In addition, we have made every effort to secure sufficient components to handle warranty claims for the duration of the warranty period. Any such spares can only continue to be supplied for as long as the supply chain or our stock levels allow.

We have a number of options for upgrading existing installations with our EoC (Ethernet over Coax) solutions. From camera station upgrades to full system overhauls, our teams would welcome any opportunity to discuss a technical solution to suit your requirements.

Analogue products from this point onwards will be supplied on a first come first served basis unless prior agreements with the product line managers have been made.

Should you require further information or wish to secure analogue products during this period please use the following contacts or your local account manager.
